AxleWise ("we", "us", "our") builds tools that help car haulers and commercial drivers run safer, more legal, more profitable loads. We respect your privacy and we keep what we collect to the bare minimum needed to make the app work.
1. What we collect
Account info: name, email, and (optionally) carrier/company name when you sign up or join the waitlist.
Vehicle & load data: tractor and trailer specs, axle weights, 5th-wheel and tandem positions, and load configurations you enter into the app. This stays tied to your account so your saved loads work across devices.
Usage data: anonymous, aggregated analytics (page views, feature usage, crash reports) via privacy-respecting tools like Cloudflare Web Analytics. No third-party ad trackers.
Device info: OS, app version, and device model — used only for support and compatibility.
Location (optional): only when you use route planning or scale-finder features, and only while the app is in use. We do not track you in the background.
2. What we don't collect
We do not sell your data. Ever.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not access your contacts, photos, or microphone unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it (e.g., camera measure).
3. How we use it
To run the app: optimize loads, save vehicles, plan routes, sync between devices.
To improve the app: anonymized analytics help us see what's working and what's broken.
To talk to you: product updates, important account notices, and (only if you opt in) occasional release news.
4. Where it lives
Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure (Supabase, Cloudflare). All traffic is TLS-encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest. Waitlist emails are stored securely and used only to notify you when AxleWise launches.
5. Third-party services
Supabase — authentication and database.
Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and privacy-respecting analytics.
RevenueCat — subscription management (if you subscribe).
Apple & Google — app distribution and in-app purchases.
Google Maps — route and map rendering when you use route features.
Each service has its own privacy policy and only receives the minimum data needed to do its job.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@axlewise.ai. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/UK, you have GDPR rights; if you're in California, you have CCPA rights — both are honored regardless of where you live.
7. Children
AxleWise is built for commercial drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
If we update this policy we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
